General Terms & Conditions (GTC)

1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") regulate the rights and obligations arising in connection with accommodation and stay at Hotel Savannah located at Hatě 199, Chvalovice 699 02 Znojmo, operated by Palasino Group, a.s., with its registered office at Česká Kubice 64, Česká Kubice 345 32, ID No. 64358267, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Plzeň, Section B, Insert 492 (hereinafter "Accommodation Provider"), which arise on the basis of an accommodation contract within the meaning of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter "CC") between the accommodated person (hereinafter "Guest") and the Accommodation Provider.

2. Accommodation and related services are governed by the accommodation contract, these GTC, the Hotel Savannah House Rules and the valid legal regulations of the Czech Republic. In the accommodation offer or accommodation contract, certain provisions may be amended differently from these GTC, whereby such deviating arrangements take precedence over these GTC. If the Accommodation Provider offers Guests any promotion with its own conditions, the conditions of that promotion take precedence over the GTC.

1. The contractual relationship arises upon written confirmation of the order (hereinafter "Reservation") by the Accommodation Provider sent to the email address provided by the Guest.

2. The Reservation can be made:

  • 1. by telephone at the number published by the Accommodation Provider on its websites;
  • 2. by email to the address published by the Accommodation Provider on its websites;
  • 3. via the online reservation system on the website www.hotel-savannah.com;
  • 4. through a service intermediary;
  • 5. in person at the hotel reception.

3. If the Guest provides their ID No. during the Reservation or otherwise indicates that they are an entrepreneur, the Guest shall be deemed an entrepreneur. Otherwise, the Guest shall be deemed a consumer.

1. Current prices and offers for accommodation and related services are set out and available on the website www.hotel-savannah.com. They are subsequently confirmed in the written Reservation confirmation.

1. The Accommodation Provider offers Reservations with free cancellation option and Last Minute Reservations.

1. For Reservations with free cancellation option, the Guest pays a deposit in the amount of the price of one room night within the Reservation. The remainder of the accommodation price and related services is paid by the Guest on site upon arrival at the Hotel Savannah reception.

2. For Last Minute Reservations, the Guest pays the accommodation price and related services on site upon arrival at the Hotel Savannah reception.

3. Upon the Guest's arrival, the Accommodation Provider issues an invoice for payment of accommodation and related services to the email provided by the Guest.

1. The Guest has the right to withdraw from the accommodation contract exclusively due to a material breach of the Accommodation Provider's obligations.

2. The Guest has the right to terminate the contract before the expiry of the agreed accommodation period (hereinafter "cancellation of stay"). The Guest is obliged to deliver the cancellation notice in writing to the Accommodation Provider. In connection with the cancellation of stay, the Accommodation Provider has the right to charge the Guest cancellation fees.

3. In the case of a Reservation with free cancellation option, the Guest is entitled to cancel the stay free of charge up to one day before arrival, and any amount already paid will be refunded within seven working days from the date of cancellation of stay. In the case of later cancellation of stay or no-show, a cancellation fee in the amount of the price of one room night will be charged to the Guest.

4. In the case of a Last Minute Reservation, the Guest is entitled to cancel the stay free of charge at any time.

5. In the case of non-provision of accommodation and related services due to reasons on the part of the Accommodation Provider or force majeure, any amount already paid will be fully refunded within 7 working days from the date of notification of this fact to the Guest.

6. The Accommodation Provider has the right to cancel the Guest's stay in the event of a breach by the Guest of obligations stipulated by the accommodation contract, these GTC, the Hotel Savannah House Rules or good morals.

1. For the purposes of these GTC, a corporate event is a stay of 5 or more persons where the Reservation is made by a legal entity or an entrepreneurial natural person. Alternatively, it is an event associated with further business activity organized by the Accommodation Provider based on the Client's requirements confirmed by the Accommodation Provider (hereinafter "Corporate Event Client").

2. For corporate events, the Corporate Event Client pays the Accommodation Provider a deposit in the amount of 50% of the total price of the corporate event, payable within 14 days from the Accommodation Provider's confirmation of the Reservation. The remainder of the total price of the corporate event is payable within 14 days from the issuance of the final invoice after the event ends.

3. In the event of default in payment, the Accommodation Provider is entitled to charge the Corporate Event Client default interest in the amount of 0.05% of the unpaid amount for each day of default.

4. In the event of cancellation of stay, the Accommodation Provider is entitled to charge the Corporate Event Client a cancellation fee as follows:

  • 1. 25% of the total price of the corporate event in case of cancellation 30 to 15 days before the corporate event;
  • 2. 50% of the total price of the corporate event in case of cancellation 14 to 5 days before the corporate event;
  • 3. 100% of the total price of the corporate event in case of cancellation 4 days or less before the corporate event.

1. The Guest has the right:

  • 1. to timely provision of the contractually agreed accommodation and related services;
  • 2. to be informed of any changes to the contractually agreed accommodation and related services;
  • 3. to cancel the stay pursuant to Article 6 of these GTC;
  • 4. to claim defects.

2. The Guest is obliged:

  • 1. to familiarize themselves with the valid version of these GTC, the Hotel Savannah House Rules and information on personal data processing before making the Reservation;
  • 2. to comply with the Accommodation Provider's instructions and obligations arising from the Hotel Savannah House Rules during the stay;
  • 3. to pay the price of accommodation and related services on time;
  • 4. to provide the Accommodation Provider with cooperation necessary to ensure timely provision of accommodation and related services;
  • 5. to compensate all damages caused to the Accommodation Provider's property during their stay.

1. The Accommodation Provider is obliged:

  • 1. to provide the Guest with all information about accommodation and related services;
  • 2. to ensure accommodation and related services for the Guest in accordance with the confirmed Reservation.

1. The Accommodation Provider's liability for the Guest's brought items is governed by the provisions of the CC.

2. The Accommodation Provider is not obliged to compensate damage to:

  • 1. items left outside spaces designated for accommodation and storage;
  • 2. items left in vehicles;
  • 3. vehicles parked in unguarded parking;
  • 4. live animals;
  • 5. brought items in general, if the damage was caused by the Guest themselves or a person they voluntarily accompanied.

3. The Guest may hand over cash, jewellery or other valuables to the Accommodation Provider for safekeeping. The Accommodation Provider has the right to refuse to accept such items for safekeeping if they are dangerous or excessive in value or extent for the Accommodation Provider.

4. The right to compensation for damage must be exercised by the Guest with the Accommodation Provider no later than 15 days after the day they learned of the damage.

1. Any complaints about defects in accommodation and related services must be lodged by the Guest without delay with the Accommodation Provider.

2. If a dispute between the Guest and the Accommodation Provider cannot be resolved amicably, the competent courts of the Czech Republic with Czech law as the governing law shall have jurisdiction.

3. The Guest also has the right to submit a proposal for out-of-court settlement of such a dispute to the designated out-of-court dispute resolution entity, which is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 15, 120 00 Prague 2, Data Box ID: x7cab34, email: adr@coi.cz, website: https://adr.coi.cz. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority is the supervisory authority exercising oversight of consumer protection, proceeding according to Act No. 64/1986 Coll., on the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, as amended, and other legal regulations.

1. The Accommodation Provider is entitled to amend these GTC at any time. The Accommodation Provider undertakes to inform about changes to the GTC by publishing new GTC on the website www.hotel-savannah.com and in written form at the Hotel Savannah reception at least 14 calendar days before the effective date of the change.

2. The Accommodation Provider reserves the right to charge the Guest fees in accordance with the valid Hotel Savannah House Rules.

3. The Guest acknowledges and agrees that the Accommodation Provider processes their personal data in accordance with the Information on Personal Data Processing available on the website www.hotel-savannah.com.

4. These GTC are valid and effective from 1st March 2026 and fully replace the previous GTC.
