General Terms & Conditions

1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") regulate the rights and obligations arising in connection with accommodation and stay at Hotel Savannah located at Hatě 199, Chvalovice 699 02 Znojmo, operated by Palasino Group, a.s., with its registered office at Česká Kubice 64, Česká Kubice 345 32, ID No. 64358267, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Plzeň, Section B, Insert 492 (hereinafter "Accommodation Provider"), which arise on the basis of an accommodation contract within the meaning of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter "CC") between the accommodated person (hereinafter "Guest") and the Accommodation Provider.

2. Accommodation and related services are governed by the accommodation contract, these GTC, the Hotel Savannah House Rules and the valid legal regulations of the Czech Republic. In the accommodation offer or accommodation contract, certain provisions may be amended differently from these GTC, whereby such deviating arrangements take precedence over these GTC. If the Accommodation Provider offers Guests any promotion with its own conditions, the conditions of that promotion take precedence over the GTC.

1. The contractual relationship arises upon written confirmation of the order (hereinafter "Reservation") by the Accommodation Provider sent to the email address provided by the Guest.

2. The Reservation can be made:

  • 1. by telephone at the number published by the Accommodation Provider on its websites;
  • 2. by email to the address published by the Accommodation Provider on its websites;
  • 3. via the online reservation system on the website www.hotel-savannah.com;
  • 4. through a service intermediary;
  • 5. in person at the hotel reception.

3. If the Guest provides their ID No. during the Reservation or otherwise indicates that they are an entrepreneur, the Guest shall be deemed an entrepreneur. Otherwise, the Guest shall be deemed a consumer.

1. Current prices and offers for accommodation and related services are set out and available on the website www.hotel-savannah.com. They are subsequently confirmed in the written Reservation confirmation.

1. The Accommodation Provider offers Reservations with free cancellation option and Last Minute Reservations.

1. For Reservations with free cancellation option, the Guest pays a deposit in the amount of the price of one room night within the Reservation. The remainder of the accommodation price and related services is paid by the Guest on site upon arrival at the Hotel Savannah reception.

2. For Last Minute Reservations, the Guest pays the accommodation price and related services on site upon arrival at the Hotel Savannah reception.

3. Upon the Guest's arrival, the Accommodation Provider issues an invoice for payment of accommodation and related services to the email provided by the Guest.

1. The Guest has the right to withdraw from the accommodation contract exclusively due to a material breach of the Accommodation Provider's obligations.

2. The Guest has the right to terminate the contract before the expiry of the agreed accommodation period (hereinafter "cancellation of stay"). The Guest is obliged to deliver the cancellation notice in writing to the Accommodation Provider. In connection with the cancellation of stay, the Accommodation Provider has the right to charge the Guest cancellation fees.

3. In the case of a Reservation with free cancellation option, the Guest is entitled to cancel the stay free of charge up to one day before arrival, and any amount already paid will be refunded within seven working days from the date of cancellation of stay. In the case of later cancellation of stay or no-show, a cancellation fee in the amount of the price of one room night will be charged to the Guest.

4. In the case of a Last Minute Reservation, the Guest is entitled to cancel the stay free of charge at any time.

5. In the case of non-provision of accommodation and related services due to reasons on the part of the Accommodation Provider or force majeure, any amount already paid will be fully refunded within 7 working days from the date of notification of this fact to the Guest.

6. The Accommodation Provider has the right to cancel the Guest's stay in the event of a breach by the Guest of obligations stipulated by the accommodation contract, these GTC, the Hotel Savannah House Rules or good morals.

1. For the purposes of these GTC, a corporate event is a stay of 5 or more persons where the Reservation is made by a legal entity or an entrepreneurial natural person. Alternatively, it is an event associated with further business activity organized by the Accommodation Provider based on the Client's requirements confirmed by the Accommodation Provider (hereinafter "Corporate Event Client").

2. For corporate events, the Corporate Event Client pays the Accommodation Provider a deposit in the amount of 50% of the total price of the corporate event, payable within 14 days from the Accommodation Provider's confirmation of the Reservation. The remainder of the total price of the corporate event is payable within 14 days from the issuance of the final invoice after the event ends.

3. In the event of default in payment, the Accommodation Provider is entitled to charge the Corporate Event Client default interest in the amount of 0.05% of the unpaid amount for each day of default.

4. In the event of cancellation of stay, the Accommodation Provider is entitled to charge the Corporate Event Client a cancellation fee as follows:

  • 1. 25% of the total price of the corporate event in case of cancellation 30 to 15 days before the corporate event;
  • 2. 50% of the total price of the corporate event in case of cancellation 14 to 5 days before the corporate event;
  • 3. 100% of the total price of the corporate event in case of cancellation 4 days or less before the corporate event.

1. The Guest has the right:

  • 1. to timely provision of the contractually agreed accommodation and related services;
  • 2. to be informed of any changes to the contractually agreed accommodation and related services;
  • 3. to cancel the stay pursuant to Article 6 of these GTC;
  • 4. to claim defects.

2. The Guest is obliged:

  • 1. to familiarize themselves with the valid version of these GTC, the Hotel Savannah House Rules and information on personal data processing before making the Reservation;
  • 2. to comply with the Accommodation Provider's instructions and obligations arising from the Hotel Savannah House Rules during the stay;
  • 3. to pay the price of accommodation and related services on time;
  • 4. to provide the Accommodation Provider with cooperation necessary to ensure timely provision of accommodation and related services;
  • 5. to compensate all damages caused to the Accommodation Provider's property during their stay.

1. The Accommodation Provider is obliged:

  • 1. to provide the Guest with all information about accommodation and related services;
  • 2. to ensure accommodation and related services for the Guest in accordance with the confirmed Reservation.

1. The Accommodation Provider's liability for the Guest's brought items is governed by the provisions of the CC.

2. The Accommodation Provider is not obliged to compensate damage to:

  • 1. items left outside spaces designated for accommodation and storage;
  • 2. items left in vehicles;
  • 3. vehicles parked in unguarded parking;
  • 4. live animals;
  • 5. brought items in general, if the damage was caused by the Guest themselves or a person they voluntarily accompanied.

3. The Guest may hand over cash, jewellery or other valuables to the Accommodation Provider for safekeeping. The Accommodation Provider has the right to refuse to accept such items for safekeeping if they are dangerous or excessive in value or extent for the Accommodation Provider.

4. The right to compensation for damage must be exercised by the Guest with the Accommodation Provider no later than 15 days after the day they learned of the damage.

1. Any complaints about defects in accommodation and related services must be lodged by the Guest without delay with the Accommodation Provider.

2. If a dispute between the Guest and the Accommodation Provider cannot be resolved amicably, the competent courts of the Czech Republic with Czech law as the governing law shall have jurisdiction.

3. The Guest also has the right to submit a proposal for out-of-court settlement of such a dispute to the designated out-of-court dispute resolution entity, which is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 15, 120 00 Prague 2, Data Box ID: x7cab34, email: adr@coi.cz, website: https://adr.coi.cz. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority is the supervisory authority exercising oversight of consumer protection, proceeding according to Act No. 64/1986 Coll., on the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, as amended, and other legal regulations.

1. The Accommodation Provider is entitled to amend these GTC at any time. The Accommodation Provider undertakes to inform about changes to the GTC by publishing new GTC on the website www.hotel-savannah.com and in written form at the Hotel Savannah reception at least 14 calendar days before the effective date of the change.

2. The Accommodation Provider reserves the right to charge the Guest fees in accordance with the valid Hotel Savannah House Rules.

3. The Guest acknowledges and agrees that the Accommodation Provider processes their personal data in accordance with the Information on Personal Data Processing available on the website www.hotel-savannah.com.

4. These GTC are valid and effective from 1st March 2026 and fully replace the previous GTC.

Hotel Savannah accommodation rules

1.1. These Accommodation Rules set out the regulations for guests’ stay and movement within Hotel Savannah.

1.2. The hotel may accommodate only duly registered guests and provide services corresponding to a **** hotel category.

1.3. Current information regarding accommodation rates and services provided by the hotel is available at any time from the reception staff. You can contact them by email at Reception@hotel-savannah.com or by phone at the number listed on the website (+420 515 284 084).

2.1. Upon arrival, guests must present a valid identity document (ID card or passport) issued by a governmental authority and containing a photograph. Based on this document, guests will receive a hotel key card granting access to their assigned room. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

2.2. In case of loss or re-issuance of the magnetic key card, a fee will be charged according to the current price list.

2.3. If a guest refuses to identify themselves or present valid ID, the hotel is not obliged to provide accommodation. Accommodation and services must be paid in cash or by credit card on the day of arrival or departure, provided credit was set at check-in. Invoice payments are allowed only if a written request was submitted in advance and the hotel management approves a deferred payment. The hotel accepts vouchers issued by approved travel agencies and hotel vouchers. Same-day reservations must be paid in full in cash for the entire stay, unless secured by a credit card.

2.4. Unless otherwise agreed, rooms without a reservation secured by a credit card will be held only until 6:00 p.m. on the first day of the reservation, after which the reservation will be cancelled.

2.5. Guests visibly under the influence of alcohol or other substances may be refused accommodation.

2.6. On the day of arrival, rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. On the day of departure, check-out is required by 11:00 a.m., unless otherwise agreed with the hotel.

2.7. Early check-in or late check-out is possible subject to hotel availability and may incur an additional fee according to the current price list.

3.1. Guests are not allowed to move hotel furnishings or tamper with electrical installations and devices in the room.

3.2. Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to hotel property during their stay.

3.3. Guests must observe quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

3.4. Guests must comply with these accommodation rules. In case of violation of the Accommodation Rules, the Hotel Savannah general terms and conditions, or Czech law, the hotel may immediately terminate the guest’s stay. Guests remain liable for any damage caused and must pay for all services used up to the time of early departure.

3.5. For safety reasons, guests may use only personal hygiene electrical appliances (razors, massage devices, etc.) or computer equipment. The use of extension cords and other electrical appliances is prohibited.

3.6. Guests may use free Wi-Fi (PalasinoFreeWiFi).

3.7. Children under 12 may not be left unattended in hotel rooms, restaurants, or recreational areas, including the Wellness & Spa center (pool, saunas, steam room).

3.8. Security cameras operate in corridors and public areas. Recording use is subject to applicable personal data protection laws.

3.9. Guests have free access to the Wellness & Spa center (pool, saunas, steam room). Other services and treatments are charged according to the price list available at the reception or Wellness & Spa. Guests must familiarize themselves with the Wellness & Spa operating rules, available at the reception and on www.hotel-savannah.com.

3.10. Bathrobe rental is available at the reception for a fee. Unreturned bathrobes will be charged according to the current price list.

3.11. Entry to Palasino Casino is governed by its Terms and Conditions and game regulations. More information is available at the reception, on www.palasino.eu, or in information materials provided in each room.

3.12. Carrying or storing weapons on hotel premises is prohibited.

3.13. Smoking, use of fireworks, or any open flame is strictly prohibited in the hotel. Violations may result in eviction and cancellation of reservations, and guests will be charged for the full stay and any damages. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas. Any damage resulting from non-compliance will be charged.

3.14. Guests have access to an in-room safe, used at their own risk. Valuables may also be deposited at the reception.

3.15. Parking is available at the hotel free of charge. The parking lot is unattended, and the hotel is not responsible for damage, theft, or personal property left in vehicles.

3.16. Minibar contents are not included in the room rate. Guests must fill out a consumption form, sign it, submit it to reception on departure, and pay accordingly.

3.17. Guests must comply with all safety measures related to hotel operation and interactions with other guests.

3.18. Dogs may be accommodated only when accompanied by guests, in designated areas, and a fee applies according to the published price list. Rules for dogs include:

  • 3.18.1. Dogs are prohibited from entering the wellness center.
  • 3.18.2. Dogs must be accompanied in public areas and kept on a leash.
  • 3.18.3. Dogs may not use guest beds, chairs, or other resting furniture.
  • 3.18.4. Dog feeding may not involve utensils or equipment used for guest food preparation or service.
  • 3.18.5. Owners must clean up after their pets.
  • 3.18.6. Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their dogs. The hotel may charge for extra cleaning or replacement of linens used by pets.
  • 3.18.7. Room inspection, cleaning, and repairs must be allowed for rooms with pets, at least once daily, for safety and damage control. Staff may refuse entry if they feel threatened.
  • 3.18.8. Other animals may be accommodated only with prior hotel approval.

4.1. In addition to these Accommodation Rules, guest rights and obligations are governed by the accommodation contract, Hotel Savannah General Terms and Conditions, and applicable Czech law. In case of conflict, Czech law prevails, followed by the hotel’s General Terms and Conditions.

4.2. The hotel welcomes suggestions from guests to improve hotel operations and safety.
